The login process in 4M is slightly different depending on whether you’re a first-time user or a returning user. Follow the steps below to get started.

First-Time Login

If this is your first time logging into 4M:

  1. Receive an invitation via email – Your organization’s Admin must first invite you to 4M.

  2. Accept the invitation – Open the email and click Get Started.

  3. Create your account – Follow the prompts to set up your 4M account.

When creating your account, you'll be asked to create a password associated with the email address where you received the invitation.

Your password is your first line of defense against unauthorized access. To ensure your account is secure, follow these best practices:

  1. Length is key: Passwords should contain at least 16 characters and no more than 32 characters.

  2. Use a passphrase: Choose a simple, memorable passphrase (e.g., three or more words strung together). Example: Racing4them00nshine.

  3. Optional complexity: Upper/lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols are optional. Spaces are not allowed.

  4. Avoid personal information: Do not use your name, family members’ names, pet names, birthdays, anniversaries, phone numbers, or other easily guessed data.

  5. Restricted content: Your password cannot include your 4M login name, display name, or any part of your full name.

  6. Case sensitivity: Passwords are case sensitive, so remember exactly how you enter it.

Returning Users

If you’ve already created an account:

  1. Click Sign In at the top-right corner.

  2. Enter your login information.

  3. You’ll be taken to the Projects Page, where you can access your team’s projects.

What to Do If You Forget Your Password

  1. On the 4M login screen, click “Forgot password?”.

  2. Enter your email address and follow the password reset instructions sent to your inbox.

SSO (Single Sign-On)

If you’re an Admin and would like to enable SSO for your organization, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
